Project Description

The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) owned and operated 13 airlift-type wastewater pump stations, with two of those pump stations being in the design phase for conversion into submersible stations. SPU had determined that airlift technology was no longer suited for the conveyance of wastewater in their collection system and, therefore, needed to be replaced.

Scope of Work

SCL provided a base project schedule in Primavera P6 format. SCL developed at least three alternative options for the eleven pump stations, which included Class 4 estimates for each option and an Option Analysis Report. The initial scope of work involved identifying replacement options for 11 airlift pump stations.
