Project Description

The Puget Sound Gateway Program seeks to expand and merge State Routes 167 in Pierce County and 509 in King County to facilitate transport between the Port of Tacoma and Seattle. This project will ensure the movement of people and goods are done efficiently. This project will help towards improving the congestion roads and highways, freight connections, regional mobility and airport access as well as creating 6.5 miles of new bike/pedestrian paths and 3.5 miles of new sidewalks.

Scope of Work

The SCL Document Manager oversaw and provided assistance for document storage, retention, and retrieval for the SR 167 and SR 509 Completion Projects. SCL also recommend changes for efficient management and retrieval. Working with WSDOT leadership, Gatekeeper was created and implemented at all levels of this mega program.
