Project Description
The Puget Sound Gateway Program involves State Route 167 in Pierce County and State Route 509 in King County providing connections to both the Port of Tacoma and Seattle ensuring that the movement of people and goods is done efficiently. This project will help towards improving the congestion roads and highways, freight connections, regional mobility and airport access as well as creating 6.5 miles of new bike/pedestrian paths and 3.5 miles of new sidewalks.
