Project Description

The Asset Management Library (AML) will be the repository of all data and information of all the assets of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (STIA). It will initially be comprised of the STIA-provided historical documents. The purpose is to create an asset management program that leverages the Port’s CMMS system, GIS technologies, and the facilities master record drawings, to create an Asset Management tool where renewal and replacement of existing infrastructure and a long-range maintenance program can be managed from a central platform. The system will also be used to manage properties with respect to leases.

Scope of Work

Collaborating with the Port of Seattle on the Asset Management Gap Assessment, SCL was tasked to assist and support with the development of the Asset Management Library (AML) through Task Order No.1 and a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet was formulated and compiled with data from existing master file and subordinate files from the STIA-provided historical asset data. The spreadsheet serves as the Catalog (Index) of the AML. The assembly of the AML entails analysis of the historical asset data: a) to ascertain that they are organized correctly, and b) to determine gaps to ensure future usefulness of the information. The data will be calibrated into SharePoint Metadata for configuration and future entry/association with Maximo asset records.
