63rd Avenue Pump Station Electrical Upgrade Project

OWNER King County WTD | LOCATION Seattle, WA | PROJECT TYPE Civil, Wastewater Treatment, Utilities, CM

Project Background

King County engineers are leading the design and construction to replace two existing soft start motors with variable frequency drives at the 63rd Avenue Pump Station. The work will replace all electrical equipment; standard MCCs will be replaced with SMART MCCs, more controllers will be added and the control instrumentation will be improved by adding new LEL equipment and modifying the PLC Program to operate the pumps.

Systems Consulting, LLC will provide a detailed Class 3 estimate based on the drawings, specifications and verifiable quotes from vendors and supplies. The estimate will also take the cost of removal and replacement of overhead conduits to make room for the equipment installation into consideration.
